Orders
 A signed purchase order needs to be submitted for us to acknowledge your order and only once this has been received then will we enter the order into the system and commence the processing of the order.

Returns
 If a product is received that has a manufacturing defect or is not the size, color or quantity that was ordered notify Contemporary Linens within 7 days of receiving your order and we will arrange for replacement stock.

If you require a part delivery on an order, due to us not being able to fully supply the full order ex-stock, we can do a part delivery and put the balance of the order on back order. Please note each part delivery would have to be over our minimum order value of P 3500.00.You will receive an invoice for each delivery.

It is ultimately the sole responsibility of the purchaser to determine that the goods purchased are suitable for the purposes of intended use. We do not normally accept returns on the basis that the customer simply does not like the product. However if a valid reason is established for the dislike of the product then in order for us to take back stock under these circumstances you would have to:

contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods
have not used the product
have not washed the product
have not damaged or dirtied the product
and pay for the cost of cartage back to our warehouse

Returns on custom or personalized, specially manufactured goods will not be accepted for any reasons other than manufacturing defects. We are happy to send you a sample of the fabric, embroidery and/or finished product you are considering before we do a full run. A signed approval on the supplied sample has to be submitted before bulk production commences to eliminate this problem. 
All returns must be arranged with Contemporary Linens within 7 days of receipt.
 

Delivery
  It is important for you the customer to plan your purchases and place your orders well in advance to eliminate any delivery problems that might arise from arrival of your goods after your required delivery date. 
The company will make its best effort to meet the purchasers lead time requirements, but the company does not give any guarantees in this regard.

From the submission of the purchase order delivery of goods depend on a number of factors. The major factors influencing delivery times are:

Quantity of your order and Contemporary Linens stock availability.
Distance of your establishment from Contemporary Linens eg if you are 500kms from the Gaborone Depot then the time factor for the transportation of the order has to be taken into consideration.
Time of the year , expect +-14 working days in our quite periods and +-20 working days in our busy times.
Level of Customization of your order eg if all the towels need to be embroidered an extra time factor will be added for this additional production process.

An expected lead time will be established once the order has been received and this information will be relayed to the customer , if your order has not arrived within the expected delivery time, please contact us.

A signature is required with delivery of the order on the delivery documents , this should either be by you or a representative of your establishment. You must also check your delivery to make sure everything is there. Contemporary Linens can not be held responsible for shortages if you have not checked your delivery and signed the documents.

Terms of Trade

PAYMENTS

C.O.D orders - If you are a first time customer of Contemporary Linens you will be required to pay upfront or on exchange of the goods ordered. Once we have built a little history with you, and your credit application has been cleared we can move you onto a 30 day account.

30 day Accounts - these will be granted only to established customers who purchase goods fairly regularly. Goods will not be dispatched if accounts are over due or if values are in excess of agreed credit limit.

New Credit applications - fully completed forms to be submitted. 30 day accounts will be granted subject to credit bureau checks which will take approximately 7 working days.

OWNERSHIP
Ownership of the goods delivered or collected shall only pass on to the purchaser once the purchase price has been paid in full.
